Bachelorette Party IdeasA few months ago, I was asked to be the maid of honor for my cousin’s wedding and I was honored and excited to be part of her big day! As the maid of honour, I helped plan the Bachelorette party and I had no idea where to start, but luckily, I had an awesome team of bridesmaids to guide me! We did our research online and here is our list of bachelorette party ideas:

A Bachelorette Getaway
I think going on a bachelorette getaway is a great option! Some popular getaway trips you can fly to are Las Vegas, San Francisco, New York, Hawaii, or LA. It’s close enough to Vancouver that most friends can attend and those places have many types of activities to do that it’s perfect for everyone. If flying is too expensive, there is also the option of going on a road trip. There are so many great places around Vancouver to choose from such as Whistler, Okanagan, Victoria, to Seattle and Portland. If your group of friends can’t take the time off, a staycation is also nice! For my cousin’s bachelorette, we rented a room at River Rock Casino and had a great time! Depending on what your plans are, you can rent a hotel nearby so you don’t have to worry about transportation.

An Adventure
It’s always fun to do something out of the ordinary. If you want to be adventurous, you can try: Zip-lining / Going to the shooting range / Paint balling / Go karting / Obstacle Treetop Courses / AV Driving / Bungee Jumping / Parachuting / Paddle boarding / White Water Rafting

Stripper / Butlers in the Buff Canada
If you would like to spice up the party you can go to a strip club, hire a stripper or a butler from Butler in the Buff.

Spa: Pedi / Medi Party
A spa would be the best way to de-stress any bachelorette. You and your party will have the option to choose any spa treatment. Afterwards, you can stay at the spa and use their amenities.

Fun Photoshoots
It’s always fun taking photos! There are a few photography studios that offers group photoshoots - some will also include make-up and hair. Not only would you be pampered and looking glamorous for the night, but you also get memorable photos with all your friends.

Dancing
There are many clubs in Vancouver you can choose from. If you contact the clubs and ask them to include your bachelorette party on their guest list, most will likely say yes. Clubs are one way to dance the night away, but there are other options such as booking a dance party, pole or burlesque dance classes.

Classes
If you would like to do a fun class before partying, there are many selections such as cocktail, cooking, painting, crafts, or flower arrangement classes.

Like all parties, bachelorette parties are tailored to the soon-to-be bride. Here was just a list of ideas and options, but it all depends how you would like to celebrate. For me, it was always about the company. I remember my bachelorette fondly and it was because my closest friends were there to celebrate with me.
