Karizma Photography / Location: Queen Elizabeth

Every Spring we look forward to watching the Cherry Blossoms take over the city as they make every street corner and park come to. You can feel the excitement in the air with people trying to capture the best photos of the cherry blossoms. They do make one of the most beautiful backgrounds for any type of photo-shoot. To find the best locations to take your favourite cherry blossom photos, we chatted with a few photographers who gave us their list of favourites.

Queen Elizabeth Park
Queen Elizabeth Park has the best pink cherry blossoms. Some of the trees are low, making them perfect for family photos. One of our favorites is their huge field of cherry blossom, with enough cherry blossoms to fill your frame. It does get busy during the weekend, so you might want to plan ahead and go earlier or on a weekday.

Stanley Park, Rose Garden area:
This area has a nice pathway with cherry blossoms. They’ll make nice “walking under the tree” photos! There are also daffodils and tulips growing around Stanley Park – if you wanted different backgrounds in your photos.

Terra Nova Park:
There is a nice, small, long path of cherry blossom trees on two sides. There aren’t as many people there, which makes taking photos a little easier.

Garry Point Park in Steveston:
There's a canopy of cherry blossoms that would make pretty walking, kissing, hugging, playing, etc. photos. There are also less people there.

Graveley Street, Vancouver: a long road full of cherry blossoms.
